Parque da Floresta - Fun For The Whole Family
There are numerous pools at the resort from one just yards from the property, two large luxury pools (as shown in the picture to the left) and pools just for children. We deliberately chose a property without pool so that we do not have to watch our children 24 hours a day to ensure safety, and so they can mix and have fun with other children and not just mum and/or dad
The children's clubs also provide a great environment for children to have fun, learn and make new friends
There are two groups, one for 3 to 8 year olds and one for 8 to 16 year olds, and responsible and friendly staff can organise a full programme of activities to keep your children amused and happy throughout the day
For the younger age group, the Floresta Fun Club features a Commander-in-chief of the Fun Bear Brigade and her trusty assistants who provide a full entertainment programme to keep the band of Merry Bears always amused! The 'Passport for Fun' is the ideal way for keen, young sports enthusiasts to get a feel for the many different activities that are available. Whether trying a sport for the first time or brushing up on existing skills, the children have hours of fun, while meeting other children
Older children can enjoy Activ8, a club offering a little more independence. Children can decide what they want to do from the day's à la carte activities in conjunction with the coordinator - from playing volleyball, football, cricket, rounders, table tennis, pool, darts, or just relaxing and reading magazines in the club. If you want a star of the future your children can even attend a golf or tennis lesson with professional coaches
Away from the resort there are numerous activities for children including a local Zoo and great water park that cannot be missed
Zoomarine is a fun-filled sea-world park, with dolphins, seals, sharks, turtles, exotic birds and tropical fish
The beach at local Salema is a must for children of all ages as well as fantastic other desserted beaches at Amado and throughout the region
Portuguese are particularly fond of children and you will find a warm and friendly welcome for your family holiday
